What is bullying and what does it feel like?
Bullying can be lots of different things. The bullies might be:
- calling you names
- hitting, kicking or physically hurting you in another way
- putting you down
- picking on you
- leaving you out
- threatening you
- talking about you behind your back
- anything else that makes you feel scared and worthless.
Bullying can happen at home, school, when you’re out elsewhere and online – this is often called ‘cyber bullying’.
No one deserves to be bullied and it is not your fault.
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”
– Dr Seuss
How can I deal with bullies and stop them bullying me?
