When you see or hear strange things that other people can’t – often described as “hearing voices in my head” – it can feel like you’re losing touch with reality and going mad, and make you really paranoid. This is often called ‘psychosis’.
If you feel strange things are happening or that reality is slipping through your fingers the speak to your GP as soon as possible. They may tell you to call GRiP (Gloucester Recovery in Psychosis) for advice.
GRiP helps people aged between 14 and 35 who are, or may be, experiencing psychosis for the first time, and their families. Call 01452 894178 for support.
